Discord Helper Terms of Service

1. Introduction
These Discord Helper Terms of Service ("Helper Terms") govern your use of the Fans by Fans Discord Helper ("Helper") operated by Tatak Entertainment Technologies Inc. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). The Helper provides integration between your Discord server and the Fans by Fans e-commerce platform.
By adding the Helper to your Discord server or using any of its features, you agree to be bound by these Helper Terms, our general Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not add or use the Helper.
These Helper Terms supplement and are incorporated into our general Terms of Service. In case of conflict, these Helper Terms shall prevail with respect to the Helper.
2. Helper Functionality
The Helper provides the following functionality for fulfillment partners:
2.1 Service Ticket Channels
- Automatically creates private support channels for service-type orders
- Manages channel permissions to restrict access to relevant parties
- Posts order information embeds with transaction details
- Sends customizable welcome messages to buyers
- Archives or deletes channels upon order completion
2.2 Member Management
- Adds buyers and designated support roles to ticket channels
- Creates and assigns event-specific roles to buyers (when enabled)
- Manages channel visibility and permissions
2.3 Channel Snapshots
- Captures and archives message history from designated channels
- Stores message content, author information, and attachments
- Enables restoration of archived messages to new channels
2.4 Announcement Channels
- Creates event-specific announcement channels (when enabled)
- Manages read-only channel permissions for buyers
3. Helper Permissions
When you add the Helper to your Discord server, you grant the following permissions:

OAuth Scopes: The Helper requires the following OAuth2 scopes:

4. Data Collection and Storage
4.1 Server Information
When you link your Discord server, we collect and store:
- Server ID, name, and icon
- Server owner's Discord ID
- Approximate member count
- Your configuration settings for the Helper
4.2 User Information
For users interacting with Helper features, we collect:
- Discord user ID
- Username and display name
- Avatar URL
- Role assignments within ticket channels
4.3 Message Data
For service tickets and channel snapshots, we collect:
- Message content and timestamps
- Author information (ID, username, display name, avatar)
- Attachments (URLs and metadata)
- Channel and thread identifiers
4.4 Form Submissions
When buyers complete information forms in ticket channels, we collect:
- Form field responses as configured by the partner
- Submission timestamps
- Associated ticket and transaction references
Data Retention: Helper-collected data is retained according to our Privacy Policy data retention schedule. Channel snapshots are retained indefinitely unless deleted by the partner or upon account termination.
5. User Responsibilities
5.1 Server Administrator Responsibilities
As the server administrator linking the Helper, you agree to:
- Ensure you have authority to add helpers and manage the server
- Inform your server members about the Helper's presence and data collection
- Comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
- Not use the Helper for any illegal, harmful, or abusive purposes
- Maintain appropriate server moderation and content policies
- Promptly report any security vulnerabilities or misuse
5.2 Buyer Responsibilities
Buyers interacting with ticket channels agree to:
- Provide accurate information in forms and communications
- Respect the privacy of other users in shared channels
- Not share confidential order information publicly
- Follow server rules and Discord's Terms of Service
5.3 Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Helper to:
- Collect data from users without proper disclosure
- Spam, harass, or abuse other users
- Distribute malware, phishing links, or harmful content
- Circumvent Discord's rate limits or API restrictions
- Reverse engineer or exploit the Helper's functionality
- Use captured snapshots in misleading or fraudulent ways
6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
6.1 Service Availability
The Helper is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the Helper. The Helper's functionality depends on third-party services including Discord's API, which may experience downtime, rate limiting, or changes beyond our control.
6.2 Discord Platform Dependency
The Helper operates within Discord's platform and is subject to Discord's Terms of Service, rate limits, API availability, and policy changes. We are not responsible for any limitations, changes, or discontinuation of Discord's services that may affect Helper functionality.
6.3 Data Accuracy
While we strive to ensure accurate data capture and storage, we do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of captured channel snapshots, message histories, or other Helper-collected data. Messages may be edited or deleted on Discord before capture, and network issues may cause data loss.
6.4 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Helper downtime, errors, or service interruptions
- Loss of data, messages, or channel snapshots
- Unauthorized access to your Discord server
- Actions taken by Discord, including bot removal or API changes
- Third-party integrations or services
- Your reliance on Helper-captured data
7. Force Majeure and Indemnification
7.1 Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Helper Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters, acts of God, or extreme weather events
- War, terrorism, civil unrest, or government actions
- Pandemics, epidemics, or public health emergencies
- Power outages, telecommunications failures, or internet disruptions
- Cyberattacks, DDoS attacks, or security breaches beyond our reasonable prevention
- Discord platform outages, API changes, or service discontinuation
- Third-party service provider failures (cloud hosting, databases, CDNs)
- Changes in applicable laws or regulations requiring service modification
7.2 Technological Malfunctions
We shall not be held liable for damages arising from technological malfunctions, whether internal to our systems or caused by external factors, including:
- Software bugs, glitches, or unexpected behavior in the Helper or Platform
- Database corruption, data synchronization errors, or storage failures
- Network latency, packet loss, or connectivity issues
- Browser or device incompatibilities affecting Helper interactions
- Discord API rate limiting, timeouts, or error responses
- Webhook delivery failures or message queuing delays
- Third-party API changes or deprecations
In the event of technological malfunctions, we will make reasonable efforts to restore service functionality, but we do not guarantee recovery of lost data or uninterrupted service restoration.
7.3 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tatak Entertainment Technologies Inc., its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or relating to:
- Your use of the Helper or any Helper features
- Your violation of these Helper Terms or our general Terms of Service
- Your violation of Discord's Terms of Service or Developer Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights, including privacy rights
- Content posted or captured through the Helper in your server
- Any disputes with buyers or users in your Discord server
- Your failure to properly disclose Helper data collection to server members
- Channel snapshots used in violation of original authors' rights
This indemnification obligation shall survive the termination of your account and removal of the Helper from your Discord server.
8. Termination and Helper Removal
8.1 Voluntary Removal
You may remove the Helper from your Discord server at any time through Discord's server settings. Upon removal, active ticket channels will remain in your server but will no longer receive Helper functionality updates.
8.2 Data After Removal
Upon Helper removal or account termination:
- Your server link will be disconnected from the Platform
- New ticket channels will no longer be created
- Existing channel snapshots will be retained per our retention policy
- Transaction records will be retained as required by law
8.3 Termination by Us
We reserve the right to disable Helper access to your server if you violate these Helper Terms, our Terms of Service, or Discord's policies.
9. Discord Developer Compliance
The Helper is developed and operated in compliance with Discord's Developer Terms of Service and Developer Policy. We are an independent entity and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord Inc.
Discord is a trademark of Discord Inc. All Discord-related trademarks, service marks, logos, and brand features are the property of Discord Inc.
10. Modifications to Helper Terms
We may update these Helper Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or via email. Continued use of the Helper after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
