The Seatmap Experience

When an event has assigned seating, you'll see an interactive seatmap that lets you visually explore the venue and find available tickets.

Desktop Layout

On desktop, the ticket page uses a split layout:

• Left side (70%) — the interactive seatmap showing all venue sections
• Right side (30%) — the ticket listing panel with available tickets

You can interact with the seatmap using:

• Click a section to filter the ticket list to only show tickets in that section
• Zoom in/out using the controls in the top-right corner (+ and − buttons)
• Pan by clicking and dragging to explore different areas of the venue
• Reset zoom with the reset button that appears after zooming
• Hover over sections to see a tooltip with the tier name, price range, and how many tickets are available

Mobile Layout

On mobile, the seatmap is displayed as a collapsible card at the top of the page:

1. Tap View Venue Seatmap to expand the map.
2. Tap a section to filter tickets — the card header updates to show the selected section name.
3. Tap Clear to remove the section filter.
4. Collapse the seatmap to focus on the ticket list below.

The mobile seatmap includes a helpful hint: "Tap a section to filter tickets."

Understanding Sections & Tiers

Sections on the seatmap are color-coded by tier (e.g., VIP, General Admission, Balcony). Each tier has its own color, and the map legend shows what each color means.

When you hover over or tap a section, the tooltip shows:

• Tier name — the pricing tier this section belongs to
• Price range — lowest to highest ticket price in that section
• Availability — number of tickets currently available

Sections that are grayed out are either sold out or not available for this event.

Filtering & Sorting Tickets

Above the ticket list, you'll find a filter and sort popover to narrow down your options:

• Sort by price — lowest to highest or highest to lowest
• Seating type — filter by tier (e.g., VIP only, General Admission only)
• Price range — set a minimum and maximum price
• Section — check specific sections using checkboxes

These filters work together with the seatmap — clicking a section on the map automatically filters the list.

Ticket Card Details

Each ticket card in the listing shows:

• Section and seat information — where you'll be sitting
• Tier name with a color indicator matching the seatmap
• Price displayed prominently
• Seller — the partner listing the ticket
• Add to Cart button

Purchasing Tickets

1. Browse the seatmap or scroll through the ticket list.
2. Use filters to narrow down your preferred section, tier, or price range.
3. Click Add to Cart on the ticket you want.
4. Continue shopping or proceed to Checkout.

Note: Tickets are not reserved until payment is complete. If a ticket sells out while it's in your cart, you'll be notified at checkout.
