Cancellations & Refunds
How to cancel an order, request a refund, and understand refund timelines.
Requesting a Cancellation
If you need to cancel an order, you can submit a cancellation request from your transaction detail page in My Purchases.
Buyer Cancellation Reasons
When cancelling, you'll be asked to select a reason:
- Changed mind — you no longer want the item
- Wrong item ordered — you selected the wrong product or variant
- Duplicate order — you accidentally placed the same order twice
- No longer needed — the item is no longer required
How It Works
- Go to My Purchases and open the transaction.
- Click Request Cancellation (or "Need to cancel?" link).
- Select your reason from the dropdown.
- Submit your request.
Note: Cancellation requests require seller approval. The seller may accept or decline your request depending on the order status and fulfillment progress.
What Happens After a Cancellation Request
- Seller accepts — your order is cancelled and a refund is processed automatically.
- Seller declines — the order continues as normal. If you believe this is unfair, you can open a dispute.
- No response — if the seller doesn't respond within a reasonable time, you can open a dispute for admin review.
Refund Processing
When a cancellation or refund is approved, the refund is processed back to your original payment method.
Refund Timelines by Payment Method
| Payment Method | Estimated Timeline |
|---|---|
| GCash | 1–3 business days |
| Maya | 1–3 business days |
| GrabPay | 1–3 business days |
| Credit Card | 5–14 business days |
| Debit Card | 5–14 business days |
These timelines start after the refund is initiated by the platform. You'll receive an email notification when your refund is processed.
When Refunds Are Not Available
Refunds may not be available in these situations:
- After confirming receipt — once you click Confirm Receipt, funds are released to the seller permanently
- After the auto-release window — if escrow was automatically released due to inaction
- Completed transactions — orders that have been fully completed and confirmed
- Seller-declined cancellations — though you can escalate via a dispute if needed
Seller-Initiated Cancellations
Sellers can also cancel orders for their own reasons:
- Out of stock — the item is no longer available
- Cannot fulfill — the seller can't complete the order
- Pricing error — the listed price was incorrect
- Buyer requested — the seller is honoring a cancellation you discussed with them
When a seller cancels, your refund is processed automatically — no action needed from you.
Tips
- Request cancellations as early as possible — before the seller ships the item
- Keep an eye on your email for cancellation status updates
- If your cancellation is declined but you have a valid concern, open a dispute
