Where to Enter a Promo Code

Promo codes are entered during checkout in the order summary card. Look for the Promo Code (optional) field with a tag icon.

1. Type or paste your promo code into the input field.
2. The code is automatically converted to UPPERCASE for you.
3. Click Apply or press Enter.
4. If valid, you'll see a confirmation showing your discount (e.g., "10% off" or "₱200 off").
5. The discount is reflected in your order total.

To remove an applied promo code, click the Remove button next to the applied code.

Promo Code Format

All promo codes follow these rules:

• Length: 6 to 20 characters
• Characters: Letters and numbers only (A–Z, 0–9)
• Case: Codes are case-insensitive — SUMMER2026 and summer2026 work the same way

Types of Promo Codes

Sellers and the platform can create different types of promo codes:

• Platform-wide — works on any product across the marketplace
• Seller-specific — valid only for a particular seller's products
• Product-specific — applies to one or more specific products
• Variant-specific — limited to a specific product variant (e.g., a particular shirt size or ticket tier)
• Event-specific — only valid for tickets to a particular event

Promo codes can offer either a percentage discount (e.g., 15% off) or a fixed amount (e.g., ₱500 off).

Why a Promo Code Might Not Work

If your promo code is rejected, here are the most common reasons:

• "This promo code has expired" — the code's validity period has ended
• "This promo code is not yet active" — the code hasn't reached its start date yet
• "This promo code has been deactivated" — the seller or admin has disabled the code
• "This promo code has reached its usage limit" — the code has been redeemed the maximum number of times
• "This code is not valid for this product" — the code only works for specific products or sellers
• "This code is only valid for event tickets" — an event-scoped code was used on merchandise or services
• "This code requires a variant selection" — you need to select a specific variant before applying

Some codes also have a minimum purchase amount — if your order total is below the threshold, the code won't apply.

Tips

• You can apply one promo code per product at checkout.
• Percentage discounts may have a maximum discount cap (e.g., 20% off up to ₱500).
• Per-user limits apply — most codes can only be used once per account.
• Promo codes are validated in real time, so you'll see your discount before completing payment.
